Sanitizing: Bacterial Decontamination

MRSA staph infections are difficult to treat and do not respond to regular antibiotic treatments. It is a flesh-eating bacterium, affecting mostly the skin. We decontaminate homes, schools, businesses and provide the preventative sanitation to it.

MRSA or Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus is a fungus somewhat like "Athlete's Foot". Places that are under threat of an infection outbreak are school locker rooms, fitness centers, spas, public pools, and any other place where humidity and the infection meet. Once induced into, say, a gymnasium locker room on a surface, it is a contagious infection which can spread to entire football, soccer, or other sports teams. Schools are also prone to such outbreaks and school administrators are faced with the prospect of closures and lost school days due to potential infectious outbreaks.

So, You Do It Yourselves

This is what most folks do. They use bleach, or other “over the counter chemicals” to clean the affected area. Doing this may save you some dollars today, but it will cost you plenty if there is a serious outbreak of the infection. Remember, a stitch in time will always save nine in the future! Bacterial decontamination requires specialized personnel with training and certification to perform this service properly to an acceptable level according to health departments.

Why CleanScene?

Our technicians have been trained by the American Bio Recovery Association (ABRA) and the National Institute of Decontamination Specialists (NIDS) and are well-versed with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines. As the company chosen by Columbus Public Health to respond in the case of an Ebola infection in central Ohio, our ability to sanitize (kill 100%) and remediate viruses, bacteria or fungi simply means that we know what we are doing. We follow the sciences.

Our Process

We start the process by dispensing micro-droplets from a machine containing an EPA-Registered Antimicrobial. Multiple applications are made to allow the chemical to get into the nooks and crannies, cracks and crevices, computer keyboards and all other places which can be a host to the fungi.

This is to ensure that the germs don't multiply and also to render the contaminant harmless. At the end of our service, we will issue a 'Certificate of Treatment' attesting that professionally trained technicians certified by ABRA and NIDS in infection outbreak control did sanitize the areas in your building.

Although the core of our business is trauma scene cleanup, our training and use of nontoxic, odorless, colorless Level 2 antimicrobials enables us to professionally sanitize classrooms and locker rooms of any size or any other areas that may be infected.

We operate in Columbus/Central Ohio and are a group of experienced, trained and specialized professionals when it comes to decontaminating for MRSA and other such contagions. Do contact us for more information on our MRSA/bacterial decontamination services.

"After my father took his life with a shotgun, my family didn’t know WHERE to turn. We especially didn’t want my mother to see “the remainder” of the event, so we called CleanScene who responded immediately. They developed a plan where they would take care of my dad’s home while we were making funeral arrangements. Once we came back to my dads house, we could not even tell that something so traumatic had occurred. THANK YOU…THANK YOU, THANK YOU for helping us out in our time of need."

Their response time, their billing and pricing, and their overall reliability have been absolutely great for our organization. In fact, we regularly invite Wes Ingram to provide seminars to our 50+ maintenance employees to keep them abreast on changes and updates. Experts and Professionals are just a few adjectives to describe their important work for us."
